D01 (24 May) Kashgar/Hotan
Meet our guide in Sinkiang side today, then continue to driver to Hotan, visit Shache King’s Tomb (Walnut King) en route.
D02 (25 May) Hotan Sightseeing/Kuche
Visit Hotan Carpets, Home of silk. Then drive to Kuche. Stroll in the city to have a view after your arrival.
D03 (26 May) Kuche Sightseeing
Visit Kizil Thousand buddha Caves, the Kizilgaha Beacon Tower and the Grand Zhaoguli Temple.
D04 (27 May) Kuche/Ruoqiang
Today drive to Ruoqiang. Free time at your disposal upon arrival.
D05 (28 May) Ruoqiang/Golmud
Drive to Golmud, which is a civilazation center where Tibetan culture and Han culture melt each other.

D06 (29 May) Golmud/Tuotuoheyan
Drive through the vast wilderness and Tsaidam meadow on the Tibet-Qinghai-Plateau along the road in the foot of the Kunlun-mountain and go on upwards by steep valley to cross over the 4.837- meter-high Kunlun Pass. Afterwards pass by the First Bridge over the Yangtse River and arrive in Tuotuoheyan, which is lain in the head stream of the Yangtse River.

Naqu
D07 (30 May) Tuotuoheyan/Naqu
Cross southwards over the Tangra Shan Mountain. On the way the eagles, flocks of sheep and cattle, yaks, snow mountains, tents of Tibetan farmers everywhere altogether form a harmonious unity and allow the spirit and soul of people to relax.-- Zhabten - Samtneling Monastery.

D08 (31 May) Naqu/Namtso
Drive on the vast Qiangtang Grassland for Nam Tso. Cross the 5,150 m Lhachen La Pass and reach the Namtso or Tengri Nor (“Heaven Lake” in Mongolian) along the newly paved way and set up camp at Tashi Dorie peninsula. Nam Tso, the biggest salty lake of Tibet, is 70 kilometers long from east to west and 30 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 1,920 square kilometers with an altitude of 4,700 meters above sea level. It is said the holy lake and the holy mountain Nyenchentangla are a couple of lovers, who altogether guard the vast pasture and cattle. Take a walk on the peninsula and visit a small nun temple of Nyingma Sect.
D09 (1 Jun) Namtso/Lhasa
In the morning leave Nam Tso for Tsurpu Monastery along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and then the rugged countryside road. Since 1992 the master monastery of the Karma Kagyu Sect had been presided by Urgyen Thinley Dorje the 17th Karmapa. After the visit drive back to Lhasa.

D10 (2 Jun) Lhasa Sightseeing
Visit Potala Palace for the whole morning, then in the afternoon, have a view of the Jokang Monastery, then walk on the Barkhor street surrounding Jokhang, a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties.
Description:
1. Potala Palace and Jokhang Monastery: Immerse yourselves into the Tibetan religion and sense the unique culture.
2. Barkhor Street: stroll around an interesting market featuring Tibetan, Nepalese local products.
Please note: as you know, there is limitation of the ingoing tourists number to enter to Potala Palace everyday for protect the palace, since the palace is made from clay and wood and it becomes very fragile now after years and it is very easy to collapse if too many tourists enter in the same time. And the visiting time is limited too, there is only one hour allowed for the sightseeing of the tourists once. So your sightseeing maybe changes from the morning to the afternoon, or switch from one day to another according to the situation. But we guarantee all programs will be finished. Please be flexible in this arrangement, and thanks for your kind support and understanding. D11 (3 Jun) Lhasa sightseeing
Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after lunch, visit Sera monastery. We can do the Sera Kora walk of about 1 hr and then catch the famous debate session of the monks before returning back to Lhasa.
Description:
1. Drepung Monastery: the ever largest monastery with more than 10 thousand monks. Buddhist debates often occur there.
2. Sera Monastery: a place to meditate, a place to relaxation.

D12 (4 Jun) Lhasa/Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, on the Ganba La (4,796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake of Yamdrok Yumtso (4441 m).
D13 (5 Jun) Shigatse/Shegar
Morning have a tour to Tashilumpu Monastery, then continue driving to Shegar via Gyatsola Mountain Pass (5220m). It takes 6-7 hours to get there covering 310 km. The road is bumpy and dusty. If time permits, have a tour to Sakya Monastery en route. Today you can appreciate the evening scenery of Mt. Everest enough.
D14 (6 Jun) Shegar/Everest Base Camp
Rise up in the early morning to drive to Rongpuk Monastery. Then hike up to Everest BC. Rest of day own leisure time, you could take a little bit of time to explore the glacier. Check in the only hotel near Rongbuk or you could try to camp there if you are interested in.

D15 (7 Jun) Lhatse/Zhangmu
Drive to Zhangmu, the border town between Nepal and China. You have a view of Mt. Everest at the foot before and now you could look at it in distance.
D16 (8 Jun) Zhangmu/Kathmandu
Go through the formalities of China Customs and over to the other side of Friendship Bridge. There are 120 km paved road but the speed is not fast since it is always zigzag road. It will take another 5 hours to get to the destination. If you need, we could arrange our partner in Nepal side to pick you up at the border and transfer you to the downtown. Tour services end.
