(14th, Feb)
Today is the Valentine’s Day; also the first day of traditional Tibetan New Year and Chinese New Year, there will large scale of Blessing Ceremonies in monasteries across Lhasa. We will guide you to the grandest ceremonies in Lhasa, including that in Jorhkang Temple and Kora around the Bakor Street. At this special moment, you can also extend you most sincere wishes to your beloved.

Day 03 :
(15th, Feb)
In the morning, we will visit Potala Palace, the landmark of Tibet, which stands quietly on the Red Hill in snow white. In the afternoon, we will visit a typical Tibetan family share the happiness of New Year with them. The hospitable hosts will greet you by the highest standard of Tibetan etiquette, in their home, you will find their wisdom, learn their cuisine, discover their custom.

Day 04 :
(16th, Feb)
Lhasa/ Gyangtse (alt.4040m)/ Shigatse (alt.3850m). In the morning drive to Gyantse along the Kyichu River. On the Kamba La (4.796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake Yamdrok (4441 m), one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the largest habitat of waterfowls in south Tibet. Then continue to Gyantse, you can enjoy Ningjinkangsang Snow Mountain and Karola Glacier from a distance on the way as well. Upon arrival in Gyantse, have a stop in Palkhor Temple for around one hour, if you would like to have a visit (self-paid), you could go and the guide will be with you. (17th, Feb)
In the morning visit Tashilunpo monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama built in 1447 and one of the six grand monasteries in Tibet. The monastery houses a giant statue of the Maitreya Buddha, the biggest gilded statue of Maitreya (Buddha of the future) in China, and a tomb of the 4th Panchen Lama containing masses of jewels and gold.
